This was a ltd edition from MAB which I have just completed for the BMSS Bugle call in Nailsea but didn't get there for various reasons.
Painted in acrylic and inks and shows a member of the 4e Hussards on 1796. I have just noticed a few areas that need a touch up with paint, always the same when you enlarge a photo.

Lovely painting Bob.
What is MAB and is it 54mm scale?.

HI Ralph, lovely to see you well and back on Planet Figure.
MAB is short for M. Bruno who has started his own limited Edition Range mainly in 54mm. He also has a 75mm range for "special customers" with a higher price but limited, limited edition. LOL

Super addition to the display cabinet Bob. Like the relaxed pose of this figure.

Neal

Thank you Neal, the pose drew me to the figure, you also get a apare head with a shako with the wrapping both look good but went for the bicone.
Cabinet is getting full.

Bob - excellent again. Please, do let let me know the colours used for those skin tones. I am definitely interested in how you reached it. Top stuff mate.(y)

I can't say that this is my own colour pallette, I copied the idea from stoffy01 on his Paint work on the home guard Captain.
He used 3 colours and I thought I would give it a go. This is what he said

All Vallejo, Beige Red, highlights with Basic Skintone and darker shading of Mahogany Brown. A very little amount of Jo Sonja Carbon Black diluted for the darkest deepest set area's (some creases).

So, not my idea but it works
