Hello Folks,
Trying to complete the last square that will have the Artillery and two regiments marching, Gatenois and Agenais.
Both regimemts had white coats, one had violet lapels only , the other had violet cuffs only.
I am using many different purple/violet cors so it will be really hard to comenupnwith the ultimate formula.
I have scale 75 violet, i have foundry pure palette , i have vallejo purple and violet, and i have GW various purple.and violet.
So, it will be a mix of different shades of purple .
Cheers

I've primem these fusiliers with Mr Metal primer.
I decided to do something different than my regular way of painting white
I jave used as a base color Andrea white paint system, just the darkest tone plus a dab of vallejo german grey and english uniform.

thanks Kev.
to answer your question, since i was a little boy i was fascinated with the military history and uniforms, especialy the 18th century.
I used to collect bags and bags of plastic soldiers of every nation.
So, in painting these miniatures i find that i could enjoy myself painting these historical uniforms and it is my therapy and getaway from everyday work and life.
I really enjoy this, and the plus is on learning about the uniforms and people who made History what is .
cheers
