Hey Richie, the base is 12x12 inches.

I thought they were the first battalion of the famous Vallejo Regiment of Spain. My bad.

Looking awesome Daniel. The groups look amazing on the terrain. Love it!!!!

Daniel this brings back memories of painting hundreds of 1/72 nd Airfix Napoleonic figures with my son when he was around 8 or 9 and building ground work for battle fields . After seeing your wonderful work I'm tempted to have a go at a small scale diorama but in a larger scale than 1/72 nd . is there any manufactures you could recommend .

    Hello chippy,
There is nothing like seeing kids enjoying one's work.
My dauther (5y.o.) sometimes sits next to me and ask me the name of these little soldiers and help a little here and there.
As for recommendation, i can only tell you the ones i have bought in the past and present.
You have a great deal of manufacturers now in 40mm, the ones i mainly order from are Front Rank figurines in the UK, the miniature service center in the United States.
I have order a batch of frenchies in 28mm from Perry miniatures (UK) , it is my first time buying such a small scale, i am waiting to receive them in the next 2 days.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks for passing by.
    Regards

I have finished this officer today.
He is walking out of the plank House staring at his regiment as they approach the narrow passage behind the Royal.Deux-ponts column.
I am planning to have an aide de camp on horseback greeting him with some general.staff orders.
I think the scene is heading in the right direction on what i envision with it.
    Cheers 20150813_220407.jpg 20150813_220415.jpg 20150813_220455.jpg 20150813_221303.jpg
