I admire your courage.Starting new projects but never letting the previous ones unfinished.I also admire the richness of historical information in your postings.Last but not least I admire your patience, enthusiasm and technical skill in bringing these miniatures to life.Kevin I agree with you 100% it's about time someone published a thorough and exhaustive uniform history of the armies of Marlborough.

Oda.

Thanks your highness hahah

I have finished the helmet, added the star shaped metal ( don't know the name) thing on either side of the hellmet that hold the straps, added some width to the shoulder belt and painted the base color.
Paimted the vest and this guy it is almost done.
I will have to order the horses since the ones from Front rank are slightly big for the figures a d soes not look well.

Yep, guidon will get done somehow, wether i buy one or paint one.
I am debating to paimt the sencond figure in another regiment facing , then include an officer unmoumted next to the horse...this are ideas storming in my head at the moment.....

Well.....tonight i was goimg trough some of tbe spare figures i have from Trident, some french fusiliers already painted who were not goimg to be used and decided to convert to the French dragoon, the one i've painted it is nice but slightly smaller , these trident are a little bit more "robust" im size and it will be a greater conversion since i had to cut offf from half of his wast down.
I've been wanting to do this for a while and decided to challenge myself and build up the seated legs and add the boots from the unused mounted figure.
I got rid of the paint easily with acetone, rebiuilt the stand up collar , fitted the head which looks great.
Tomorrow when the putty is already cured i will add the head and work on the seated llegs, vest and turnbacks.
This dragoon will carry the guidon of tje orleans Regiment
