Finished the helmet, lapels, vest, buttons and turnbacks.

    Thanks Nap and Bob.
Now i am at a struggle between painting the uniform in the 1776 regulation or the newly 1779 regulation uniform
I like the combination of white lapels, cuff and red collar, but i like the 1779 version of Aurora cuffs, lapels, turnbacks and green collar.
    Don't know what to do!.
It is safe to say that an officer will have the new regulation uniform, but don't know what to do. :-( 20160909_091413.jpg 20160909_091427.jpg

I finished all the modifications on the coat today, i have decided for the new regulation uniform of 1779 that will have this regiment in green coats, green collars, Aurora lapels, cuffs and turnbacks with white metal buttons.
By having white metal buttons, the regiment will have long vertical pockets ( those in yellow will jave horizontal pockets), that is one aspect of this regulation that changed again in 1786.
I jave primed the figure using automotive self etching primer, cheaper, lay great details, dries REALLY FAST, and you can start painting 1 hour after, no joke.
I have almost finished the helmet and face, powdered wig it's done.

Helmet almost finished, wig and face done.
Start it to lay the base paint for the "Aurora" facings by using vallejo deep orange #851 and vallejo deep yellow #915 20160910_131512.jpg 20160910_131519.jpg 20160910_131546.jpg
