They are both great, p3 dries out a little shinnier than vallejo, but nothing you can't fix by adding Mate medium.
I jave to say my latest favorite paints are scale 75.

Nap, I've only used P3 metallics, so take this for what you will, but I find them far superior to Vallejo or Reaper (the paint I use the most).

Trying to finish these chaps and started on the Gendarme ( red coat) .

Here are some updated pictures on the Gendarme.

Started some mod on another figure from Steve Barber, this gendarme is a standard bearer, i decided to have him with unbuttoned coat.
Modified the entire front, some on the tails andnadded lace.

Triguard to convert to the Gendarmes, one is a british light dragoon trumpeter from the AWI series which i am planning to convert to a Gendarme trumpeter.
As for the kettle drummer it crossed my mind to do it, just gotta find the right pose.

Finished sculpting the modifications on the coat, primed the figure, added the painted head.

I've worked almost all day on this chap, just few more details , work on the boots and he'll be done.

Brilliant work on such a small scale Daniel. You must have perfect eyesight and a steady hand.
