So I'm finally here too, and I will be happy to watch. On facebook, it's a mess, all terribly fast, and a lot of it can escape the observer. Here, one can really concentrate and calmly choose what to stop and what to watch.

I jave bought six more figures from Steve Barber Models from UK.
I am converting 4 figures to Gardes du Corp , just minor conversion on the pocket flaps and later on on the cuffs.
The other 2 figures i will make them part of the already painted Gendarmes.

I've finished the coats, hatas including the cockades.
The gardes du corp wore a variety of colors, mainly white, others white and blue, others blue, there was no set rules, so, i decided on blue.
I added the side curls , hair and the hair bag which was a feature of the cavalry of tje Maison Du Roi.

Just caught up with your progress on this one, superb so far with excellent painting skill's. Looking forward to more.

I have finished the bandoleers, the 2nd company wore green chered bandokeers with silver lace, the 4th compamy wore golden yellow with sil er laced bandoleers.

I have finished the cuffs and glued the arms..

I have received the standart from GMB Flags, there is no "Gendarmes du Roi " availabke , so i did some work to bring the Gendarmes Standart.

I have decided to convert all of the figures to Gardes du Corp, i will leave one figure as Gendarme.de la.Garde and already ordered 4 more figures to create the Gendarmes de la garde at a later date.
I have modified the hats a little to resemble the SYW "shape" rather than the teicorn shape used in the AWI.
