    Hello folks,
I have been playing with the idea of making a little conversion on an existing figures of trident, the manufacturer does not design the French Artillery crew yet, so idecided to go ahead and try it myself.
Luckily for me, the manufacturer already had the replacement head sin pokalem hats, so that makes this "journey " a little easier.
I attached a pic with circles of the areas i did work on.
The artillery will be place it on the 4th square of the Yorktown diorama which i have not started yet.
    Cheers o-French6a500.jpg 69a3f46999ca97b6f4b2e9ade204f736.jpg 20160607_235359.jpg 20160607_235657.jpg 20160607_235925.jpg

Progress: i primed the figure with self etching primer.
Then i layed the base color for the vest using andrea dark sea blue.
As for the pants i've used vallejo dark sea blue, ther eis a good difference vetween these two , you will not notice on the pic.
Finally i've used dark prussian blue on the pokalem hat with the red trim from Formula P3 khador red base.
The idea of using different tones of blue comes from my belief that all of those garments wore produced from different fabrics and wear and tear will also be a factor depending what is that garment use is for. 20160610_092844.jpg
