    Hi ALL,

Here's my latest. I was painting him up just before we jumped in the car for Chicago! He was alot of fun to build and paint. Probably my favorite figure to date.

I used Kreston's mud technique of using Squadrons Green Putty and Terstors liquid cement then taking an old paint brush and carefully stippling the mixture onto the desired spots.

He's built w/ Aves. I really like this stuff. Much harder than Magic Sculp and carves great.

The helmet, pack, pouches and scabbard are from Bill Horan's Franco-Prussian War accessories.

    Thanks for looking.

Jason, a few weeks ago there was a post about our hobby: question is it art or what?
If I see what you've put up here: No discussion anymore. It's ART for sure!!

Wow! Thanks for the kind words. They are very much appreciated.

I've been pretty busy this summer w/ figure stuff. Just too lazy to post.

Marc, I pretty much use the same mix as our friend Jaume Ortiz. Brown Sand, Burnt Cad. Red and Basic Skintone and I'll a little Dark Blue Grey to the mix. Although I should have added more red to the cheeks on this fella.

    Thanks again guys!
