3d Sculpting 101 - Making A Daz Compatible Armature.

    One of the best things about 3d sculpting is that you can pose the figure you sculpt in just about any pose you can imagine. But rigging a complex figure so that the pose looks realistic can take weeks and even months. You have to maticulously setup a heirarchy of bones and creat complex weight maps and deforms that make your mesh surface look natural as it moves.
    DAZ3d studio comes with its own transfer utility that cuts all this tedious work down to a few clicks of a mouse button and a 5 minute wait. But you have to make sure that your mesh conforms completely with the genesis mesh, or the transfer will fail. This video shows you how to build the armature, the rest is easy to figure out in sculptris.
