    Hi guys

Here is Naked Army's 350mm polymer resin figure of an Australian Infantryman on patrol in the jungles of South Vietnam, circa 1971-2.

He is carrying an Australian made 7.62mm SLR (Self Loading Rifle) which is based on the Belgium-made FN. Attached to his main pack is a camoflagued 5litre drinking water bladder, which was very popular in the tropical heat.

The figure itself requires virtually no assembly, and after priming, was painted first in acrylics, then in oils. I didn't like the first attempt, so I stripped off all the paint and started again in acrylics.

This guy took me 6 months to paint and is one of my favourite figures.

    Hope you like it too.

    Regards

The face on this figure reminds me very much of Robert DeNiro.
You´ve managed to imbue it with another, more antipodean personality.
    Top-notch.
6 months well spent, you should be pleased.

    Spike.
