    I really would like to see how Luca is painting this great figure.
    It is gonna be awesome i think.

    A formidable work, as usual.

    I would like to ask Mr. Olivieri if he could explain the several steps of colors used (so far) in this figure, and in the future phases.

    The words of a master can only serve to bring into the light those who walk in the shadow.

    Oh I just noticed this thread. Lovely piece.

    I am painting a highlander with a similar tunic. Painting the white trim over the red is very challenging!

    It's good to see the finished pics Guy.
    Luca I think you've done a special job with the paint. The way you done the equipment and the splash of colour on the cuffs makes him look great...and also the faded look of the jacket...and the soft trousers...I guess it's just about all of it. :lol:

    Your treatment of the red tunic is magnificent. Looks faded without being a washed out pink.

    Good photography as well to complement such a beauty.

    :) many thanks friend, you are always very kind. my next projcet, is the display for S.T. Vincent show in october. the big half of my display is the Undred War period, but i will paint some surprise....!!!A different periods. this soldiers in Crimea is the first.... , I have one hussard, One confederate, two ospitallers,maybe, ....Wild Bill Hickok, Oliver Cromwell,ect..ect... take care Luca
