    Hi Folks

finally got some pics sorted of a Woodelf Noble figure from GW. It's a fair enlargement of a 30mm figure, so be gentle. I compositied several pics and gave them a gradient background in PS. The jury is still out in my my head as to how that looks

I tried non-metallic metals on this one - my second real attempt. The figure had some details removed that I felt cluttered it, and I added some extra tree roots to the base with MS and used H&A forest litter on the base for a real atumnal look.

Of course, there's a coolmini link. Please vote if you feel like it!

Well, here's mine Rob. Quit painting. Just give it up. ;) How's a guy supposed to catch up when painters like you get better and better? :) The "non metalic metals" (?) look really good. What colors did you use for this? What about the green cloak? Hmmmmm, if I didn't know any better I'd say you already have the elf from Andrea so......let's see it Rob. Slap some paint on it instead of the bathroom you almost got to live in! LOL!

    Looks great my friend,

Looks nice! Good job on the NMM. I'd also like to know the colors you used for them. :)

    Hello Rob

That is exquisite. The non-metallic effect has worked a treat. Way to go on that methinks.

I have a couple of Rackhams on the bench at the moment and this has given me the spur to get them finished. If they come out half as good as this I'll be well pleased

    Good stuff!

Looks great Rob...I've never tried the NMM technique..but it looks like you made a great job of the effect, I bet it's not that easy. I love the softness of the hair too..very very nice. If you manage to get to welling, maybe you could bring this little gem, I'd love to see it up close and appreciate it's true size.

    All the best...Roy.
