WIP Critique 30mm Diorama.

This is what I'm working on at the moment. A diorama using 30mm flat figures depicting a group of 17th Cent. Pikemen.

The photo's show the likely composition of the figures minus any groundwork at this stage (subject to change at short notice

) and the first three completed Pikemen.

I think that flats are more appealing to "mainstream" modellers and painters displayed in groups like this. Watch out for further progress

Excellent job! I've been looking into flats lately and I've found a lot of talk about engraving. Are the masters engraved in metal or something instead of being sculpted in putty like the round figures?
