Hi all, here is a work in progress.(excuse poor photos) This is ACModels 30cal MG gunner 1/12. I have added a pic of the original kit by Andy for comparison. please not the changes I have made are to create something slightly different rather than being neccessary. Firstly I have altered the stance, straightening the pose and moving one leg back a little to aid extra detailing on inside of boots/gaiters this was a little sparce due to restrictions in sculpting the two legs close together. I changed the trousers to the heavy battledress version and removed arms at shirt sleeves to aid painting and positioning of the 30 cal. the face was altered to give a cheeky smile and also nose etc to portray his ethnic heritage, I'm not convinced I have the complextion right yet so advice is welcome. more progress pics as work progresses. cheers Les

Interesting reworking Les & you are once again creating a new impression of this kit.
Face tones look good from this angle too.

Stay safe
Mike

Looking good Les , following this one , are you coming back across the ditch again this September ?
All the best
Al

Thanks Alan' hope to get more pics up after this weekend, as it looks like weather to stay indoors. I won't be over for this year's QMHE unfortunately' but John Belcher and Andy are going over I believe. Cheers Les
