Grant nice to see the Afghan Para at last and nice work on the face and helmet mate, for me my favourite face is the Ardennes German Para done in acrylic, great looking face and nice work on the stubble. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the figures attached to the heads.

    All the best mate,

    Steve(y)

I'm with Steve, the acrylic face is especially well done.

I really like the faces. Nice touches here and there.

For the second pic, could the off-paint effects be a little over the top? I understand full well the temptation, as I've been there. Of course this is a personal choice. But I would probably go further and make some of the off-paint regions "join" to overcome the overly-regular occurance of weathering. Of course, a highly personal choice.

Thanks for the comments Steve and you guys.
The acrylic face is my second attempt using them as I usually use oils. A lot of acrylic faces I think, tend to be a bit cartoony but the oils give a better depth for me. It's great that you like the last face Gino as I followed you're techniques to be the oil painter I am now, so many thanks.
    They are all 1/9th scale.
