    Hi all
As per title, this is a conversion from an old Verlinden kit that i started about 7 year ago, its only really the main body and upper legs that are from the original kit the rest is scratch built or changed.
I wanted to depict a German soldier heavily loaded down with kit knee beep in a river or lake in the summer time possibly Russia before the winter kicks in.
    So heres what I've made....
Ammo tin made from plastic card and brass wire.
Lower legs and trouser turn ups.
    Left hand converted.
    Boots converted.
Left and right arms with watch.
The lower tunic and pockets with rolled up smock tucked up.
    The belt buckle
    The gm sling and fitting
The asbestos mit on the gunner pouch.

    Stuff that I've added from bits box;
The head is is Verlinden bust of GI Vietnam
The cap is from a warriors kit
The ammo belt is from somewhere or other
the Mg 34 was given to me by Stuart Hale some time ago.

Painted in a hotch potch of methods .. Acrylics, oils and air brush but photography is not my strong point and some of the colour has washed out but I hope you get the idea any way .

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it but leave feedback either way.

    Thanks
    Sam
