Having heard the demands for more progress on my Jacobite vignette, I offer for your consideration the second highland clansman. Just put a coat of primer on him after work, and hope to start painting tomorrow evening. Naturally, all comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Looking really good.
But Glenn, i hope you gonna resculpt his legs. I find them skinny, and not very defined.
For instance, i cannot find a kneecap but in this period of movement the kneecap is very pronounced....

Thanks Marc. I suppose I could add a little putty around his knee, but I did also want to give him a slim and lean look. Perhaps I can work a bit o' magic with some paint?

Great action pose Glenn , I find the right shoulder looks a bit strange apart from that top marks.

Good eyes Dave, the missus pointed that out to me earlier this evening. Perhaps when I have putty mixed for his knee, I'll save a bit for the shoulder too.

Fun stuff Glenn. I agree with Marc about the knee. I also think the right arm is too skinny all over, and the top portion looks curved to me where it feels like it should be straight. Left arm looks spot-on from what I can tell. Keep at it!

    G'day Glenn,

Great work mate. I agree that the right arm needs a bit more work. Perhaps if you bulk up the upper arm (add a few more creases and wrinkles to his blouse) it will look more balanced.

Cheers Tony and Jay. After close inspection, it does seem that the right arm could use a little thickening up. Shouldn't be too much bother to add some more putty, but it will have to wait until later tonight. I got free tickets to the football, so I'm off right away!

Glenn, great movement and with the minor additions to the arm and knee - strike 2. Enjoy the game.

Thanks Ken; I'm glad folks approve of the movement I tried to portray in this figure, and equally grateful for the observations. If I take a few moments to act on the advice given, it should only result in a better figure right?

In case you were wondering....Celtic 2 - Motherwell 0. A good day out!
