Hi,

I recently bought these two models by Chronos Miniatures. Both models are resin, in the 54mm scale and ordered directly from Chronos Miniatures

The ones i bought are: "Officer of the "Garde du Corps", Westphalia 1810-13" & "Private of the 2nd regiment Belgian Carabiniers, 1815"

The complete set:

The fitting of the horses are ok both propably need some green stuff (i pressed them together, no glue):

body of the horse with its head, you also need some green stuff here (dry fit):

the sword of the Belgian carabiniers is slightly bend so some hot water is needed here:

Both models come with a base:

And 2 historical pictures as a reference:

This was my first order from Chronos and i must say that i am impressed. Both models look great, i will certainly will be ordering more from them.

Good review of a couple of really nice looking figures.
Where does the Chronos resin sit on the range of brittle - pliable?

from my point of view, it feels rather solid, not brittle. Testing the body of the trooper and the horse - i can put some force to it without bending it. The figure doesn't bend as easily like the infamous GW finecast. The legs of the horses are a bit more pliable

for me it looks comparable to RDG Miniatures and Mitches Military Models.

Sobeknefru, thank you for the review and for your words!

We will definitely continue to produce new cavalry for the era of the Napoleonic Wars!

These are very interesting subjects. I have the Westphalian on order and the Belgian in my grey army. I dxso hope we will se more of all the small german states cavalry in the future and some Prussian which I think have been neglected

The work on the German cavalry continues, and not only on the German... soon there will be a very rare representative of one small European country))
