The John Glenn bust from their site is on my work table, and the piece has excellent sculpting and casting. I note that the Alan figure has arms while John does not. Hmmm?
Painting the silver suit with various shades and mixtures of enamels. It is a bit of a head-scratcher puzzle as to how to make highlights and shadows, but I am enjoying the process. Fortunately for me, there are many contemporaneous color photographs to give direction.

Alan Shepard bust should be released with helmet in his hands. (see photo). We are mastering the helmet now. I hope, it will be finished during 1-2 month.

"Valentina Tereshkova (Astronaut "Vostok 6"), First Woman in Space 1963"

Impressive number of State Awards she received!

    Full pic (from Wikipedia) :

I can recognize on the left side of her jacket, top row, from left to right (as we look at the pic) the Hero of the Soviet Union Gold Medal, cannot identify the 2nd one, believe the third one is the Hero of Socialist Labor Gold Medal, and I'm not sure about the 4th one

Can see the Pilot-Cosmonaut of the USSR Medal on the top of the right side of her jacket, and can identify a few others on both sides of the jacket (the Order of Lenin of course), but not all of them.

Anyway, here is the full list of all her Awards:

    Cheers!
