I have painted most of the base colors on the Prussian casualties.
They are from the Regiment N. 14 Lehwaldt.

Mmmmm. I can see you needing another garage to house all of these fantastic dioramas you are making.

I really like the period you work with, and I am not sure why we don't don't see more models of the 18th century outside of the AWI. IMO opinion the European armies of the 18th century have a lot to offer.

Keep them coming Daniel. Your work is like the old serials at the movies when I was a kid - we always looked forward to the next instalment each weekend.

Look great in place like the positioning of all the casualties very effective and not overdone

They certainly got close to the French line before falling !.......it must have took real discipline to fight in this way .

    Thanks for sharing

    Thanks Kev,
Yes, linear warfare required a lot of discipline and steadiness and well executed maneuvres , something the Brits and germans had, unlike the Frenchies who were very brave , but quick to falther under steady musketry
The foreign regiments in the French Army (mostly Germans) were ought to supplement that problem.
They way i tought of this firing line vignette is that some skirmishing and exchnge of musketry fire took place before, as the line advances , stops and take aim.
    Cheers

It looks really epic and magnificent. I'd like to see, for example, a dynamic battlefield, a clash of two armies, in your processing. I have to explore your past work if you do not have something like that :). Excellent work here. I hold my thumbs and continue to watch closely ;).

Love it ..ensigns with colours flying standing rigid seemingly oblivious of the carnage around them ....officers leading .......musket volleys , skirmishes ......every figure interacts with others in some way

    Happy Nap
