It's hard to believe these are just 28mm figures

These are just brilliant those whites are ....well white ! And superb...little gems

That officer looks like he is looking down at the Sgt ..definately full of attitude

Bring on the Regiment itself ....

    Thanks for sharing

Finishing one of the troopers, going slow but this is all about having fun and not rush to finish something and then be unhappy with the result.
I love the outcome of the leather belts.
I have always been skeptical about painting Leather.
For the base color on the belts i have used vallejo red leather, a wash of vallejo burnt umber and edged the belts with vallejo orange brown.
The cartridge box i have paint it the same but added a wash of cotadel carrobourg crimson to resemble the russian red leather that the French infantry wore at that time. 20170213_232433.jpg 20170213_232439.jpg 20170213_232445.jpg

These figures are amazingly detailed for such a scale and your competent hands turn them into little marvels. As always I love the history/uniformology lesson.Top quality work!

For this regiment probably 18 to 20 figs, it is just a section firing.

I have increase the shading and added a heavier edges on the leather, looks more obvios nw, that is one of the issues with these little figs, you havento go almost extreme in order to show it 20170214_074154.jpg 20170214_074158.jpg
