I started to work on these 3 chaps, 2 troopers and one officer.
ThebMousquetaire officers did not wear the blue soubrevesté, just red coats with gold lace, red troussers and cavalry boots , the officer' guidon bearer wore the same uniform. 32db567fa611830837117d69ce366c54.jpg 20170409_010318.jpg

I have lay the base colors for the coat and sounreveste.
Gw mephiston Red (coat) , pants and vest using vallejo gory red, sounreveste using scale 75 Abysal blue.
I realized that the officer had turndown collar, so i had to "shave it" and build up the edges .
I have also added the plumes around the brim of the hat. 20170409_135350.jpg

Thanks Keith, i really like the Mousquetaires uniform, always admired them.
I guess we all see these chaps as heroes from childhood watching the 3 musketters and reading all of the Dumas heroic adventures of these guards.

A fine bit of painting there on both the details on the vest and the gold lace
