Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard).

A beautiful piece of work. I note the five chevons on the cuffs of the officer's dolman. What rank does that indicate?

I missed that. The portrait only has two, for Lt. dieudonne. I believe the five would be Colonel or at least a field grade rank.
