1st SSF #3

    I'd appreciate your thoughts and criticisms of the following scenes. Feel free to interject your own ideas. The things I think are key to the scene are the wiping of the knife and the presence (or partial presence) of the victim. I also think it will be very important to include the stone building with either a door, or archway. I think that the squatting fellow is important in that he implies there are more soldiers involved in the patrol and the need for silence.

    John - Marvelous vignette! You are setting the scene very nicely. But it's almost like you're one figure short. [Probably the last thing you wanted to hear, I know!!!] The standing figure is obviously on rear guard. The squatting one is look-out. So, don't you need one more facing the look-out who is shushing him? He could be raising up from having knifed the victim and starting to say something maybe.
