Here's the pics of my finished figure, after about 15 strippings and paintings I am finally happy with the results. Just need to dullcoat him and dirty him up a bit and the final nail will be in the coffin of this bloke. This Figure is painted to represent the 1st NY Infantry at the battle of Saratoga (which is 15 minutes from here). The base is celluclay on foam, trees and branches are from trees outside, and the leaves are dyed oregeno... lemme know what you think!

I gues the pics are a little too close up, makes the figure look really sloppy.. lookin at it with the naked eye it looks nothing like this

He looks good James. The camera can not be to friendly sometimes. A figure always looks better "In Person"

Looks you have a good start.
Not bad at all. But i really would see that you did more highlighting and shading.
The face looks almost the same and in my opion to pale.

James, What matters most is how YOU feel about your work. One thing I would change is the NY symbol you painted on the cartridge box. It would be more correct to put it on the canteen instead. Just a thought. ~Gary

Thanks for the comments guys! And much appreciated tips! Gary, I have seen the ny symbol on both cartridge boxes and canteens, so in my understanding it should be correct! Thanks gaing guys!
