    Hi guys
This is my first post here and I want to shere this recent work of a 17 Th Lancer during the Zulu war,on crossing a river
As I show below I used some spare Historex parts as a base to build up the soldier.
Then I create the uniform and all accessories like: helmet, sword, lance, bag, and bandolier. The horse is also a transformed Historex and I sculptured the crine, tail and all the 1870 equipmets with plaid, the extra shoes and carabine.
I started building the base and when the horse was ready and put in place I create the terrain and fill the space with the resin to create the river.
The soldier was painted acrylic and the horse with oil.

Very nicely done Adriano, your conversion/sculpting work is very good as is your painting, the whole scene has good movement due to the off balance of the horse and rider.
look forward to seeing more of your work.
