Here is my version of Naked Armys digger ready to board landing boats and head to the beaches of Gallipoli on 25 April 1915
Painted in JoSonja acrylics and w&n oils for flesh
He wears the AIF service dress and early leather webbing

Chris i use JoSonja acrylics my recipe for khaki is raw sienna and burnt umber if i'm making an Australian Khaki i add green then use the raw sienna highlight , for the trousers i used the base mix lightened slightly with pearl white then i use a small amount of cobalt blue to grey it down to give a worn colour for highlights i add a small amout of pearl white
