    Hello
This figure is made by Jeffshui.
I've started painting the black panzer uniform.
To add more visual interest, I decided to paint the jacket and trousers using different shades of black.
I've highlighted the jacket using sunny skintone and shaded it by adding more black to the base mix.
I used English Uniform for highlighting the trousers, and base + Dark Prussian Blue for the shades.

I would appreciate hearing your opinion on the final result.

    Hi Simon,
I'm guessing it's just the photos but the trousers look like field grey and the jacket looks like a light blue grey and not a shade of black.

However, the shading looks excellent and you've really made a great job of blending it with no hard edges.

Maybe changing the settings on your camera would give a truer picture of the actual colour.

    Following with interest,

My camera sucks. I know this for sure :(

I've tried editing the previous pictures so they will reflect the true shades of the figure.
Hope this time they look better ...

I think your camera doesn't let see your work.
It looks overall very flat. I can see contrast, but it is not enough. The camera does tricks with you.
