    Oda - Very many thanks.

Henk - A very awkward looking pose and I do wish I’d tried to move that right leg. I had to change the belt buckle, which was damaged, from the uniform s-shape to something more generic, and similarly, the water bottle was too damaged to use, so I had to swap it for the only C19th one I had in the spares box.

    Morning Peter
Lovely work with a plain palette but enough drapery to give you something to work with.
I guess a full figure is always more prone to damage in the cast release process than a bust.
Nice work with the recovery though, you would never know it needed some work.
The rifle looks a little precarious, the pose would look more natural with it in the crook of the right elbow?
The right hand would be free for a pipe or mug?
    More figures or recycling busts?
Possible heatwave and thunder storms for the South East?
Cant be any colder than up here at only 11C feels like 7C with the North winds, B'rrr!
    Enjoy the next victims

Glad you like him Steve, though I must admit I haven't taken to him and he's since been 'retired.' Good idea re the musket, though the whole body is twisted rather awkwardly anyway. With a bit of belt-tightening 'advised' by the wife, it's back to s couple of cheap plastic kits before once more resorting to the Dettol. No busts in the pipeline, just full figures.

Warm and sunny here at the moment, though indeed thunderstorms predicted overnight.
