Now that I like, its has a lot of things going for it. A paratrooper carrying a Garand (instead of the usual Thomspon or folding stock carbine) NOT wearing gloves (these were removed soon after hitting the ground for the most part) and best of all, doing something other than standing like a statue. Shame he's not wearing jump boots. I know its Market Garden but I like my para's in jump boots. Any chance you could do both types of boots? Even if they are cast as one piece with the leg, having a set of jump boots to swap out would be a nice option and allow it to be used as a Normandy guy. Overall though, very cool and I will have one.

I, too, love this figure, Laurent.
Your best figure so far! :D

The favorite part on this figure is the face.
It is exquisitely done. Also, the hands are
very well done! 2 of the most difficult areas
in human sculpting.

However, I think the helmet is a bit oversized.

Congratulations!

Helmets good IMHO. Gotta remember there was a fiberglass helmet liner that went inside these, so theres got to be room for that AND the head, and the suspension system that the head fits into. Too many M1 helmets we see on figs are much too form fitting and shallow. The M1 helmet came in one size, with the helmet liner providing the sizing. That being the case, you can have a pretty broad spectrum of large and small heads, all using the same size helmet shell. One of the first things I look at on US figs is how well the steel pot is replicated, I think this one is pretty good.

Love the stance. Just a little movement, and a lot of tension in preparation for action.
