Hello Vaux, Here is a photo of General Taylor wearing the flag patch: I don't know when this picture was taken, but there it is. Of course, Generals wore what they wanted, Patton, comes to mind. I wouldn't worry about the flag patch, some may have worn it, others may not have. It certainly doesn't take away the outstanding painting so far. Will follow this one. Regards, SG

This is Taylor at the start of 'Market Garden'. Note that he's wearing the recently issued M-43 Field Jacket and not the M-42 Jump Jacket. As Sturm Grenadier pointed out, you nonetheless have an awesome job going !!

Nice, like it a lot. You get very smooth transitions. Are you using an airbrush or is it all done by hand?

I tend to use the airbrush for larger areas, a general overhead lights and shadows and then end with a brush.
To use small parts brush.
