Been working on this figure for a while now, just put the finishing touches to it.
I will begin work on a DAK rider next, more than likely the DAK rider will be placed on the bike, will also be sculpting a companion for this one along with some 1/9 stowage. All going well I will be releasing a few bike crews for different theatres in 1/9 scale.
Bike is the Revell 1/9 Zundapp KS750.
This figure will be produced and available soon from Reedees Miniatures.

Great piece of work. Trousers look spot on in the side view picture, very natural. I do agree with Jason about the fingers though, they do seem a little too long to my eye.

Hello Steve, That is a great pose. Nice idea of him holding his back, after a long ride. His face looks the part. I really like this one, the quality and detail look top notch. I do agree with Jason, and Alex, the fingers do look a little long, an easy fix for you I'm sure. If your future rider sets, that you mentioned here, and in Ray's recent thread, look as good as this one, then we are all in store for some excellent new sets of riders, to go along with our "riderless" 1/9 motorcycles. Agree 100% pose and expression perfect.Great piece of sculpting beautifully posed tells a nice wee story.
God I wish I still had my old Triumph T120V.
The harpy I live with made me sell it and my reamed out Capri (maintained and converted by Glasgow Police mechanics needed bags of sand in boot over rear axle to keep any control of it) so I could buy a sensible Rover to accommodate our first born.

Hi Steve,
Well done, something lacking in the market place for a very long time. Great pose and poise on this very natural looking figure. As Del said it's tells the story. Very nice drapery and attention to detail in such areas as the bulging breast pocket.
As for the hand in question and knowing Steve I'm sure Steve his proportions are spot on. I actually think this is a very clever touch and attention to detail with the hand as I know sometimes with stretching I retract my thumb back. Example in the photo which does make the proportions look odd.

I think this a lovely figure, and will make a great scene! well done, great work. However finding/buying the Bike is going to be difficult and 'Bank-Breaking'! it not cheap, and I cant really find it that readily available'
