    Mr. Seo,

    Excellent job! (As usual)

It appears that you sculpted the head in Super Sculpey. I suggest that you try Sculpey "Premo". The beauty of Sculpey Premo is that it is completely opaque in color (I prefer the brown color).

I used Super Sculpey at one time but since trying the Premo I do not use it anymore. With the Premo is so much easier to see what you are doing because it does not absorb light like Super Sculpey does. It also has a firmer texture that allows for sharper sculpting. Some sculptors also use the two types blended toegther.

    Keep up the good work!

Excellent work again Seo! Your work is always inspiring.

To Mike Good, I see you recommend sculpy for faces. I have always used epoxy putty for this. I'm curious if this works well for 54mm work as easily as it does for larger scale stuff. And, what stages does one go through with the process, ie- sculpt facial planes, bake, sculpt eyes nose and mouth, bake.......? Feel free to start a new thread so that we don't hijack Seo's.

WOW! Seo, what a fantastic likeness! Great work. Is this for a commercial piece, or just an excercise in portraiture?

I'm in awe of you guys that can sculpt from well...not quite life... unless Leonardo actually came in and sat for the portrait! :)

That is an amazingly good likeness. Beautifully done!

    All the best,
