Couple of wip shots of Dan's stretcher bearer. As you can see moving along pretty well. Don't you just love it when you can spend all day and half the night painting.

    Roger.

    Hello Sébastien,
Thank you very much. The credit for these figures must go to Dan Morton. I'm just the painter in this trans-atlantic partnership. :D
It's great being able to paint such original one off figures such as this.
    Roger.

Looks terrific, Roger!! I like the way it's coming together very much! Don't wreck your eyes though. Take a break fella!

Are you going to paint the suspenders whitish grey or ? How about the topi? Darker tan, lighter tan, more yellow, more green, more white? Any of those would appear to be historically correct options.

The credit for the figures is collaborative. Without your painting, the figures would just be pewky shades of grey.

    All the best,
    Dan

Cheers fella's. I'm having a break tonight with a couple of bottles of Belgian abbey ale and the computor.
I'm not entirely sure what colour the topi will be yet Dan I'm more inclined to a very pale tan. The braces will be a pale shade of grey I think.
I'm not sure if you want to hear this Dan but a lot of this is made up as I go along:p

Looking great, Roger! I wish I could have made the canvas straps a bit thinner in width, but they're to scale unfortunately. Would have liked to show off a bit more of the shirt.

    All the best,
    Dan
