Posting an update of of a sculpture I'm doing. It's depicting a 24th foot at Isandhlwana, rushing to reload his Martini Henry. Trying to capture the tense situation that was unfolding as the British line's started to fall back to camp.

Update on the wip, have been having some thoughts on ways to approach doing the creases and folds on the coat.
Not happy with first couple of attempts so decided to do a bare skinned torso then put the straps on to give me a gauge on how it should sit against the body. After this I'll add the depth of the clothing, creases and folds from my own references.
