Hi Warren ... that´s the point behind our Grenadiers, storm-troopers, light infantry or whatever , there is ... a simple Person !! and that´s where many painters fail, they excelled in Uniform details forgetting this human side ... everything starts here , in our very day life our partner from school that was Irish or from Netherlands and had red hair and freckles, or was from south america and had tan colored skin, this is the first step to have a real Figure ...be a good observer :)

    Hello my Friend :)
Simple things of life ... aren´t that simple... In this one I intended to shill out with no step by step ... so I have no "in progress" photos ...
Briefly I intended to represent a young guy with Freckles and I believe the result was great ( I can say that the photo don´t show half of the work)
In some words I attacked directly in the final skin color, then I made the freckles , with splashes from a brush, with a darker skin tone almost orange brown ... other wise I made shadows with a reddish brown and lights with vails of light skin ....
I now is quite briefly as a text  sorry

PS: I will made a SBS of some subject only for Planet Figure ok:)

Hi Steve - thank you . I like to have a different challenges when Painting and sometimes we focus so much in a Uniform that we forget that human touch of who is wearing it.
One of my last Figures/Bust was more the inverse a senior person ...
