I'm just away to start this guy and will post some pics in progress.

British Infantryman Operation MOSHTARAK Afghanistan 2010

This is a study in 1:10 scale of a British sharpshooter during the current operation in Afghanistan. The figure wears the most up to date equipment currently available, the new MK7 helmet which is more secure and enables comfortable wearing of comms equipment. The new OSPREY body armour, this is the latest modification of the osprey armour and is lighter but offers the same protection. The rifle is the L129A1 currently being trialed as a sharpshooter weapon a new designation for marksmen not snipers. The weapon is 7.62mm and gives greater effective range to the infantry section. Very few of these weapons are currently deployed.
