Hi All,
Finally the chimp has a cave, the bairn moved out last Friday and so I have claimed the spare room. It has only cost me a couple of days decorating for the wife and now she has her home back.
I now have a place to hang my 4 framed Zulu war prints I picked up off ebay for a total of £31.
Only need a decent comfortable computer chair and I'm back in business.

All it needs now is a tyre hanging from a rope in the corner and a bit of straw on the floor and you should be quite comfy.

I'm with Mark and it's way too neat for the chimp motif, Richie! But if the wife is happy...and so it goes.

I agree Brian and if I can't be creative in there, then there's no hope for me. The wife said I can make as much mess as I like, as she can just shut the door and forget about it.

As your quite tall like me you'll definatley need a better chair mate,that one looks quite uncomfortable

Step 1 - The wife has really got to be hacked off with you about all your modelling stuff laid around the whole of the house.
Step 2 - Blame the kids for situation between you and the wife, because you don't have a dedicated room.
Step 3 - Embarrass the kids at every opportunity, even better if they are courting.
Step 4 - Form a pact with the wife!
Step 5 - Get the wife on the kids case as well.
Step 6 - Tell them how young you were when you moved out.
Step 7 - Never miss an opportunity to have a dig.
Step 8 - Starting measuring up the room and drawing a plan, when they ask what are you doing, tell them your just working out were thing will go in you new man cave.
Step 9 - Buy the stuff you want and store it, I did.
Step 10 - Give them the bloody deposit.

Here you go Mark, just for you, the national anthem. I sat in that chair for about 15 minutes, that was enough.

! Brilliant. I love the song! .. This really did make me laugh.

The irony is! .. is that not everyone will understand it's content. That makes me chuckle even more.
