Have been trying to paint this figure for some time and always screw up at this point (it's in the stripper again), any suggestions ? Just can't seem to get the shading and highlights in the areas indicated, using acrylics but open to oils.

Purchased for $5.00 at the Chicago show, produced by Regimental Miniatures. Have not fount a good base for it yet, painted with andrea paints.

I got this figure off of ebay about 14 years ago and attempted to paint it shortly after but my question is, how many other figures did Harts Models produce?

I have just started this Border Miniatures figure of Robert the Bruce, I have applied a base coat with acrylic and usually would proceed with oils. My question is, should I add the shadows and highlights and then the heraldry or paint them on first and use washes to shade and highlight?

Any tips for cleaning and caring for paint brushes ?
