These are excellent and rare figures. EMI went out of business long ago, and it took me years to trace some of them, paying far more than these asking prices. I would have jumped on this list had it been posted seven or eight years ago.
great pose and realistic body shape, but that sword behind his back is too Hollywood-esque. The sculptor should have tried to draw a sword placed behind their back.
Excellent. It is good to see a plain shield as most medieval shields were. Viking figures too often receive shields with elaborate but irrelevant painting.
yes, EMI's old code MLC-05. Great sculpt by Piersergio Allevi, who is still producing excellent figures (check his FB page). I am quite certain that OlimpYa Models bought EMI moulds.
It is absolutely stunning, meticulously executed without losing focus on the main idea. Together with the title, the entire composition evokes the memory of the eruption’s victims so poignantly.
