      Ian,

Just wanted to thank you again for your fantastic support for WASMEx. The figure modellers of WA salute you for your continued support for our Club, our Expo and our hobby. Thanks mate.

I'll send you an email with the details of the prize winners in each category. We presented the kits you donated during the awards ceremony this afternoon.

      Cheers

      Tony

Howdy Ian, checked with McCanns model world, Hobart.
Seems the model expo is a biannual (every two years) event, next due in March 2010. May have something to do with having to chip kits out of ice, polish hapless pieces of wood into shapes like fruit. Or to give the laid back life style a chance to build up momentum to get an event like this done.

Still, while touring, interviews with model shop owners may have to be a plan "B".

Get to claim more mileage and part car rental then.......
      cheers
      Jamie

PiliPili will be arriving very soon and it looks like i've under ordered as i have sold almost 1/2 the order before its arrived

      G'day Ian,

Just to let you know that the kits you've donated as prizes for the figure categories at WASMEX arrived today, and they look brilliant.:):):)

I hope I do well in the figure categories as there are one or two kits I'd like to take home with me.:D:D:D

Thanks once again for your continued support for WASMEX and for figure modelling in Western Australia.:cool::cool:

      Cheers

      Tony

its a shame i cant get to WASMEX this year due to already committing to QMHE but rest assured i've looked after my freinds in the west with prizes for all the figure catagories and i will be their next year with a massive pile of stock if my range keeps growing at the current rate.

Are you heading to QMHE? if so i hope to see you there.
    6. Mark S
Ian I've been wondering how you plan to split yourself between the WASMEX show and QMHE this August? Not even Pope Ben can manage that with his connections!

      Hi Ian,

Well the Classicae thread has been closed by Gordy, so I guess we'll just have to wait and hope that this bloke has actually sent these figures and not done a runner with your money. If/ when they finally arrive, I'll post another thread on pF to let everyone know, and then we can forget all about Classicae.

      Cheers mate

We've read the post and I'm sure its going to get a response.

we've had a good laugh about it.......dont think bill will though

i cant say screw him just yet, but i think i'll be selling his stock off on the cheap to whip my hands of him when/if it ever arrives

      G'day Ian,

I've just sent another post regarding the delay in receiving kits from Classicae. Bill Love is clearly a first class bullshit artist and he's taken your money without any regard for the impact on your business. It's great to see you've secured supply agreements with some reputable manufacturers like PiliPili, Ademola, AuthorSculpt and others.

Time to drop this turd in the toilet where he belongs.

      Cheers mate

      Tony

G'day Ian,great to hear you had a good day at Melbourne.
Personally I reckon that's not possible, but the news of the new figure companies you've lined up sounds good.
      Exciting times.Good luck with it.

G'day mate, Had an email from Bill yesterday, very apologetic about the delays and assuring me that it won't happen again. Also admitted that "Te Erui" is not an appropriate name for the Maori figure and in future will be sold as "Maori ariki 1800's"

      Give em hell mate.

      Hello ian,

Not sure how this thing 'Visitor messages' work but here 'tis:

Take your time with the order. No hurry.

In any case, we've got our hands full with the countdown to the World Expo in 2 weeks.

      Cheers,
      Quang

      G'day Ian,

Hey, this new message thing is cool. I've exchanged emails with Bill Love at Classicae. Seems the research on the Maori figuremight be a bit cocked up. I'll let you know once I hear back from him.
