      Hi Jamie,

Yes, I do manage to find tmeto sleep between running my own business, family duties and other matters. Over the years I've managed to get myself into a routine where I sit down at my hobby desk at around 9.00pm each night and model until midnight or 1am. Of course, on the weekends I can still be there when the birds start tweating.

Sculpting is so addictive. Once you start, there's no turning back. I still enjoy painting other people's sculpts, but increasingly, I wan to sculpt and paint my own creations. It's a rather God-like power to make a little person with your own two hands and then breathe life into him with your paint brush. I hope to see somephotos of your creations soon.

      Cheers

      Tony

      G'day Jamie,

Thanks for your comments on my Monash bust mate, it was quite an undertaking for meand I'm rather pleased with the outcome. Be aware though, once the sculpting bug bites; you're never the same again. What sort of things do you want to sculpt for yourself?? What medium do you intend to use?

I gather from your other posts that you live in NW Tassie. Beautiful country mate, spent some time there many moons ago (Hellyer mine). Are you near Devonport, Penguin, Stanley & The Nut? I'm afraid the road kill capital of Australia is WA, not Tassie. You don't have any Emu or Red Kangaroo bouncing through your windshield, although wombats do tend to make a mess of your diff and axles.

      Cheers

      Tony

      Ian,
Im not sure if the Apple Isle mob do actuallyhave a show in March.
I'll check some of the hobby shops, andgetback to you on that.
PlanB may be to do the old traditional walk in, flasha business card and have a coffee with the boss/ owner...... shrug.Flogging off diorama accessories, Figures, etc, the locals being an agent (kinda) for you.
Geography -Im in the North west corner, and Hobart is way down south, about 4 hours drive. Thus, show information doesnt often (if ever) appear on the radar, so to speak.
Thanks for cheering words.Freindly mob this crowd, not quite as weird as others....or equally weird as each other.
Now off to peruse your figure efforts.....
      Cheers

PS;If you want, I can add some points of interest to the honeymoon/ business trip. Tasmania; carved wooden fruit& roadkill capital of Australia.

      G'day Jamie,
do you guys down in the apple isle have a model show during the year?

I'm heading Tassie way March next year for my honeymoon and i'm sure the better 1/2 wouldn't mind if i conducted some business on the way so we could claim it as a tax deduction ;)

anyway, keep up the very good work
