    Greetings to all my friends!

We started a new project called simply "The Greatest men."
All busts of the project will be made in a classic style and have a small stand.

We will be glad to receive your advice and suggestions on figures that should be of interest to collectors.

We started with the great Russian commander Peter Ivanovich

LMBT - 081 The Greatest men: Петр Иванович Багратин
    1/10 scale resin kit
    Sculpt by A. Bodunov

The portrait of Bagration by George Dow was taken as the basis.

I don't think anyone has done a bust of Sir Colin Campbell, Lord Clyde, famed for the Crimea and Indian mutiny campaigns. Would you consider doing British subjects?
    Lovely work,
    Scotty.

    Hi Andrey

Like this , good choice and looks to be very sharp details on the awards as well as the likeness

I agree with Scotty ref Crimean leaders ...both British , French and others ....don't see many Turkish either

Osprey publishing did a good book on Victoria's generals

There are plenty of Napoleonics not done as releases ,also the Russian Civil War ?

    Look forward to seeing this

    Thanks for sharing

    Very good news.
And a very interesting bust for me.

Pyotr Bagration - Greet Russian general

" Pyotr Bagration was a Russian general and prince of Georgian origin, prominent during the Napoleonic Wars. Bagration was born in Kizlyar or Tbilisi to a family, part of the Bagrationi dynasty. His father was an officer in the Imperial Russian Army, which Bagration also enlisted in 1782.

Born: July 10, 1765, Kizlyar, Russia

    Died: September 24, 1812, Sima, Russia "

Also, busts are interesting for me

Andrey, as you already have an excellent range of samurai figures and busts, I'd love to see a figure or bust based on the Toyotomi Hideyoshi statue standing in the grounds of Osaka castle:

I am surprised and disappointed nobody has done it so far.

    Cheers,

Mind you, yet another of my back-burner projects is to model some of V-G's characters (it'll probably never happen :()
