I have now finished this figure and a lot of fun it was.
The sword blade was burnished with a steel needle and looks a whole lot better than being painted.
I used acrylics throughout except the flesh tone, they are oils. I painted the inside of the kepi to represent the brushed cotton lining and a white square for the makers mark.

Nap, Yep the trousers were black for fatigue dress so it made it look different but the name inside the kepi is not misspelt, it's the size of the hat.
(unless it was a private purchase)

Love that figure. You did a nice job with it. Done two myself so far one as Clinch Rifles like yours with the black fatigue trousers and one as Orr's Rifles.
