    Hi!

Another one of my fig + bit of an airplane project. Another Wings Cockpit figure and the nose of an Eduard British P40E shot down in the desert. The german Victor has come to gloat on his victim.
    Hope you like it!

I usually ignore WWII miniatures, but this one stands out. Beautiful composition and excellent paint-job. You can almost feel the desert heat.

Like Sergei I've had my share of WW2 stuff but....this is just great !!! I love the paintwork, the scenery and...most of all the setting !! Did you add the plane-part yourself or is it 'in the box'.
Just one small tip ( :shy: )...the text made it clear to me that the figure was a German pilot. Perhaps adding something simple like a Knights Cross would make that clear right away. Might you need one ( in 1/35 ) I have some

    Hi guys!
    Thanks for the comments!
HansDig, the aircraft nose (as the one from my "close call" topic) comes from the Eduard 1/32 kit. A forum member knew I was looking for airplane derelics and he graciously send me some of his already build models. I cut the needed part, disassembled as many parts as I could, rebuild them and painted them (the shark mouth was done with homemade masks).
I did mysself found it strange that the miniature itself didn't have an iron cross around the neck... I thought about adding one as well but too much hasle, as I didn't have any photoectched part.
I would GREATLY appreciate it indeed if you could send me one to France if it's not a problem with you, as it would definitely make everybody understand what nationality this pilot is from (hence the reason I came up with a German title...)
    See you in PM.

    Hi there

A really nice piece there , like the whole presentation , figure well painted ( nice touch on the glasses ) and the plane nose nicely damaged

Did you free hand the planes teeth ?

Like the way it is ploughed into the ground

    Thanks for sharing

    Happy benchtime

    Hi!

Thanks to Hans I've been able to add a little extra detail to the miniature. Will you be able to find it?
