Dear friends, I'm Xaby Marquez creator of SS violinist for ArtSoldiers, if I know that the damn violinist is going to create so much discord ....
Sincerely I would not have created it, when I try to create a figure I think about making people happy, not in creating discord or bad rolls.
But again I repeat is a simple collection figure ....
I am very sorry that my figure is being a source of discord ...

I want to make a comment to Mr. Martin (The Semi-God) of the Planet Figure ...
Mr. Martin, you can criticize the figures, but you always have to do them in a constuctive way, not in the prepotenten and ill-mannered way that you do them ....
And concerning that I try to deceive people ... it's out of place.
Please do not look in my mirror at your image ...

    Hi Xaby!

Well, then the Semi-God wants to answer you once - very prepotent and ill-mannered:

    First of all:
I'll rate the devil politically or historically - because that does not belong here. It is ONLY about the figure itself and how it is done!

In concrete terms, I pointed out several mistakes in sculpting and painting of the figure - all of which should not be there after a proper research and a scale of 75 mm.

    1. The violin bow hat wrong dimensions.
    2. The shell fort the cheek at the violin is missing.

    3. The player holds his instrument the wrong way - the right way would be this...:

    4. Only Hillbilies play this Instrument the way you sculpted it (by supporting the violin on the shoulder)...:

    5. The figure is described als "Sturmbannführer" (Major), but carries the rank insignia of a "Unterstürmführer" (Sub-Lieutenant)

    6. The uniform jacket is buttoned the wrong way around!

    7. The volume of the Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon is too thin and painted wrong. It was also worn in the buttonhole!

    8. The Iron Cross 1st class is missing at the figure! But it should have to be there, because this order was the necessary precondition for getting the Knight's Cross, which shows the figure.

    9. Instead of the Iron Cross, the figure shows a - unfortunately indefinable - round medal. But everything that should be there had an oval (and not a circular!) shape.

That's how it should look right ...:

    10. The rank insignia on the shoulders of the leather coat are missing.

That's ten thick research, modeling and / or painting errors on a 75 mm figure!

And just now I notice an eleventh error:

Your figure wears red stripes on his pants!

These stripes were only worn by General Staff officers. To carry them one had to be a member of the Wehrmacht!

The XX was an independent force and not part of the German Wehrmacht. She had no own general staff - and consequently no red stripes on the pants!

The least I expect as a possible buyer of a new figure is that it shows what's written on the box.

And that is clearly not the case here.

    Kindly regards from the Semi-God

P.S. I like to admit that the face and pose are a matter of taste - and I personally find both unbelievable.

P.P.S. And now I'm looking curious forward to the sources, after which your figure is sculpted and painted ...!

    Martin on the issue of the officer's rank you're right, he's not a major, he's a sub-official.
It is as I believe it as a sub-official, as the denominations in German are so similar to those we do not know German, nor did I realize.
But it is solvable ... you just have to change the label.
Regarding the red line you are also right, the SS did not carry them ... but it is also solvable by omitting it from the decoration ... these have been painted by the decorator by mistake.
And referring to the violin ... there are violins without chin support.
Last but not least ... apologize for calling you ... Semi-God, but it has been very bad for me to try to deceive the people.
Excuse me from my heart ...
