Purchased this in Nap's garage sale, always liked the Stormtrooper busts and it's another gem sculpted by Moz Corry.

Cleaned him up and gave him a good wash then glued various pieces in place, I also removed the epaulette loop on his right shoulder and replaced it and added one to the left shoulder with plasticard loops, added the parts for the lance then gave all the parts a prime.

For reference I found this book that I managed to find, a few months ago, in a local antique shop for a fiver, and it is like new so a bargain.

Just painted the whites of his eyes but that's it for now, my turn to cook dinner this evening.

Thanks guys, a few more hours on his head, eyes painted and gloss varnish in acrylics, so while drying I painted in the shadow areas of the Czapka cover with Black Grey, also gave the cords a base coat of Gold Brown, then gave the cover two thin washes of Dark Sea Green.

    P1130913 (2).JPG P1130912 (2).JPG

Painted the face in my usual Artist's oils followed that by giving the hair and beard a thin oil wash of a mix of the three browns I have on my palette.

I will now concentrate on the main body part until the head is fully dry.

    Bye for now,

Thanks Bob, I've painted him a bit darker than normal and I like the tones better.

There's no rush mate, like me you do it at the speed you enjoy, I don't know why I seem to be speedy, but I suppose it's just my pace and that's it.

    Cheers
