The Japanese soldier looks like a little bit as the 90 mm Andrea miniatures Japanese NCO.

    Also ?
Strange.....We are not alone waiting for this vignette!
It's really strange, the vignette is ready, and Semper Fidelis announces the shipment, but no messages to those who made a pre-order!
They do not respond to messages on FB or mail!
Strange, I hope to be wrong .... But I really do not like it!

Patience is difficult sometimes - but hang in there. Part 2 turned up for me a few days ago and the figures
    are well worth the wait.

    Hi Zastrow.cuirassier,
Since September last year I've been paying/pre-order the figures of the scene, according to they were available (month to month one for one).
The first scene part had to have arrived to me before last Christmas, but José (Semper Fidelis) told me there was different problems with the caster company, distribution times... Maybe fogie received his first part. Me no.

The fair of Leganés came, and new difficulties. Last week Jośe told me that he had some minor health problem; and that now I was going to receive the complete scene (the two parts together) in that same week. I'm still waiting... and don't know anything else ¡¡¡ :(
I don't want to doubt José honesty. I'll tell you. ;)

I ordered both sets from El Greco who have it in stock and arrived very quickly, not sure why retailers have it in stock when the pre orders have not been met yet ?
It is a very nice set of figures so worth the wait.

    Several question then!
Why traders before those who paid in pre-order?
Those who paid in pre-order, therefore funded this project, so why are not they priority?
I do not understand the commercial approach!

I was going to buy direct from Semper Fidelis but I noticed El Greco was selling the full set in the U.K so ordered from them for quicker and cheaper delivery. I assumed all pre orders must have been made if retailers had stocks of both part 1 and part 2 of the set, I am not sure if any other retailers have the sets in stock.

    Hello all,

Kindly note that Jose at Semper Fidelis had various issues with the production as his casters could not deliver the production runs on time.

We also had pre-ordered and paid for the kits way back in November as soon as Jose advised us of the news. Then, he sent us very small batches of Part One to fulfil some of our own customer pre-orders. He did not send us our full order so that he would be able to send kits out to his own customers who had pre-ordered the kit directly from him.

To that effect, we stopped taking pre-orders due to the delays, and we only put Part Two online once we actually had the stock in hand.

Part One is currently sold out and should be available again at the end of April.

We thank everyone for patiently waiting until we received the stock. It is a beautiful set and well worth the wait.

Nicely detailed and action packed release from Semper Fidelis. Not my period, but geez what detail and action in the 3 figure Roman vignette! The WWII Japanese Officer is pretty cool! I know a buddy who would enjoy this one. Congrats to Semper Fidelis, I still think your Apache one of the best releases ever!(y) Thanks for keeping we painters in new and interesting subjects!

Much Success to Semper Fidelis! Terry Martin-Member of the Atlanta Military Figure Society of Atlanta, GA

I received Part One and Two last week. It took a while, but there was always a good communication via e-mail, so I don´t mind.

But when I opened the boxes I found out that there are two right halves of the horse, the left half is missing. So I emailed Semper Fidelis. No answer. More emails, still no answer. Seems that José went mute. I have to say, I´m really pitted.

So if somebody here on PF has two left halves of the horse, feel free to contact me for an exchange.

Update: I just received an e-mail from José, he´s awaiting some missed parts and will send them out after he receives them. I guess they have to been casted first. Let´s hope the best. A incomplete scene without the horse would be a real pity, because the figures are really gorgeous. Even if there were inconveniences, the figures are really worth the wait.

A little too amateurism in all this history and in particular on the part of Semper Fidelis.
The subject is complex but RDG with almost 30 figures gives you a complete vignette / diorama in time!
I'm waiting to see, but the example of a brand now missing on PF, does not bode well.
In any case, the fact of not responding immediately to emails does not argue in favor of Semper Fidelis.

Sad to hear this, Zastrow.cuirassier. I hope you´ll get your figures soon. Did you try to contact him via e-mail?

I normally don´t take part in this "pay and wait for the figures to be produced" thing, but since it´s such a dynamic scene AND Romans I couldn´t resist. Yeah, they always say it´s limited, soon sold out and so on, but in most cases you can by the figures at the known retailers when they´re actually available. Should´ve known better.

At least the price of 175 € including international shipping for six 75mm figures (one of them mounted) is really, really good.
