Hello Martin, thank you for the presentation. As I had said in our first Theme Collection release we are not hiding that the contents are articles that have been published previously in our editions. The High-End Digital Print gave us an opportunity to produce Theme Collection books in small numbers, just to keep the engine running. Our thought is to attract the interest of new customers that maybe are more focus on a specific period and theme and nowadays they cannot or they do not want to pay just for one or two articles on their favorite subject. But judging from the sales, this new series is going to be a very pleasant surprise for me and my dealers!
Jay, we have this in mind.
John, I know your thoughts but we have to make a living from our editions..
PS
I would like to see some comments here about our Theme Collection books as I think they are very good indeed and fill some gaps in printed hobby books for historical miniatures.

Just too expensive. 15 euro to ship outside Europe. Total comes to 39.95 euro. Digital download will be better.

Stelios, I do understand...I’ve bought every one of the single issues, the wet palette...

We are trying to find a solution. The thing is that I can not make cuts on the packaging or to send without tracking number. This edition even if it has 84 pages the total weight is just above 500grs (520 -530grs) so the level is 500 to 1000 gr. Digital print uses different paper and inks. The Hellenic Post Office charges 15 Euros (outside of Europe) and 11.2 for Europe. I do not use just a carton envelope that maybe be smashed in the corners. Of course, this is not the customer's concern. Just explain that the shipping cost is not coming in my pocket...

I understand you are not making any money on shipping. Is it possible to get a distributor for North America. That will cut down the shipping cost.
For example Diamond comics/Preview World in the United States distribute comics and magazines from around the world. I can order from any local comic shop ( if you are in UK, you can order from your comic shop too) for comics, art books and magazines publish from foreign countries (like Japan, UK, France etc) from their monthly catalog and they don't charge shipping cost just the cover price. You pick it up from your comic shop when it arrives. The magazines are always come in flat undamage.

Shipping is brutal...I can vouch for Stelio’s packaging..and echo his sentiment that in buying a book quality publication, vs a periodical, I want it undamaged to keep for reference.

Won’t help the costs, but might be interesting to survey customers for article topic preferences, style of the articles...
